- I followed the work of the Numerical C Extensions Group for a while,
- but then moved into different areas. Now I need to move back again
- (such is life in a university computing service!) Please can anyone
- fill me in with a few pointers to the current state and/or activities
- in this area?
-
- My particular interest (now, as distinct from then) is in extensions
- to C to allow efficient vectorisation on machines like the Cray YMP.
- Please note that I am interested in the de jure and de facto standards
- activities, and NOT in the fact that any particular vendor has a super
- efficient compiler or a pet variant of C!
-
- Thanks for any help.
